6th Juried Invitational Exhibition

Juror Statement:

I want to thank the Visual Arts Alliance for choosing me as juror for the exhibition. It was a daunting task to see so many wonderful pieces of art only to realize I could only select a small set to include in this show. The process reminded me of how much artistic talent we have in the Houston area. Houston is a vibrant, creative community and we are lucky to have groups like the Visual Arts Alliance to showcase artists in our community. I hope you all enjoy my selections and appreciate the hard work of Matt Adams and his group of volunteers for hanging the exhibit. I had a wonderful time, and hope you enjoy the show!

180 artworks were submitted and 60 were selected.

The invitational exhibit is one of the benefits of volunteering in the VAA. There is no entry fee and awards were given at the reception.
