I have been a member of the Visual Arts Alliance for six years.  I have served on the board as Membership Chairman and Treasurer.  Both functions  enabled me to broaden my knowledge of how a 501 (c) (3) operates.  My appreciation of art has been enhanced as a result of my membership in VAA.  Additionally, by attending the numerous VAA workshops and studios of practicing artists I have sharpened my skills and remained current with what is going on in the creative community.  Overall, as a member of the Visual Arts Alliance my experience has been very rewarding.
