THE ARTIST

Following a career as an architect and urban planner, who has lived and worked in Europe, Asia and the Middle East, Daniel’s work is included in corporate and private art collections throughout the U.S. One of his works was chosen among 129 finalists for the Hunting Art Prize, out of more than 1.500 entries. He has served as VAA’s exhibitions chairman since 2013, organizing and producing 11 juried exhibitions.

ARTIST STATEMENT

Life is a mystery, and I love mysteries. I am drawn to the passage of people through places, footprints in the sand, fingerprints on the wall, the scent of a presence left in an empty room.
